ABOUT PLAY GOLF AND TENNIS & RON CARROLL

Get a Grip America (dba) Play Golf and Tennis started out as Play Golf Chicago in 2005 as
a private golf club for young and urban professionals. We added Play Tennis Chicago in 2009,
and added Start a Business in Chicago in 2012. We were formally known as Get a Grip Chicago.

Ron Carroll Teaching Golf at Diversey Range

Ron Carroll is a Golf, Tennis and Small Business Coach with over two dozen years of experience.

Ron Carroll received his formal education from Loyola University Chicago in Psychology
and Art in the early 1980's, and spent over 20 years working as an Engineer, Marketing
Manager, Trainer, and in varies capacities in the IT industry. Ron has either worked for,
or consulted companies such as IBM Corporation, Microsoft, Comdisco & Creative Labs.
When he left the IT industry, Ron was a certified Microsoft, Novell, Cisco & Apple Engineer.

In addition to having had a long and successful corporate career, Mr. Carroll has owned
several businesses, including Eye to Mind Design, Business Information Group USA,
Chicago Cyber Cafes, Doctor PC and Get a Grip America Inc. (DBA Play Golf and Tennis).

As an athlete, Ron has played competitive sports since the age of 8, beginning
with hockey and baseball, later adding football, track, tennis, basketball and golf.
Lastly, Ron is a recreational tennis instructor who also passed the PGA PAT Test
(Player Ability Test), and has been teaching golf and tennis for over a decade.

Ron has over 30 years of training experience, and uses his background in
Psychology, Engineering and art (his creativity) as a teaching method,
coupled with patient and Yoga, Pilates and Zen Golf & Tennis concepts.

Expect immediate results and to see the golf swing in a totally different light
as Ron takes the two key culprits of a bad game out - mind, muscle & memory.
